Teen Beta Readers

Who better to beta read than someone from your target audience! I contract with teens who are avid readers, and I train them in beta reading and gentle feedback. They've helped clients find plot holes, figure out their book's target age range, and flag slang that's not current, all while highlighting spots that made them laugh or have feels.

Beta teens have various interests, some of which are represented below. And they all have a love for stories and a desire to cheer you on.

How it works

Fill out an interest form, and I'll get back to you with available dates. Bookings are for a full month, with occasional quick-turnaround periods during school breaks.

You'll receive the teen's comments and reactions in the margins of your manuscript and a detailed feedback form with over 40 questions. You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions specific to your manuscript and follow-up questions afterward.

Limited slots available during the school year.

$60 for manuscripts up to 100K words
